Social Event / Gala Dinner Social networking event include morning coffee served before start of conference, opening ceremony, followed by morning coffee break, hosted luncheons, and afternoon coffee break. Gala dinner reception will be held on Tuesday 8 December 2009. Pre-conference Tours Delegates and accompanying persons or spouses will be invited to join complimentary pre-conference sightseeing tour. Pre-registration is required in order to ensure hassle-free operation. Participants will be taken to interesting spots in and around the capital Bandar Seri Begawan, and the Kampong Ayer (water village). Shuttle Service Daily complimentary shuttle service between official hotels and the conference venue will be arranged for the convenience of all registered delegates. Accompanying Persons Accompanying person/spouse program include pre-conference sightseeing tour, ticket to gala dinner reception, health spa and shopping vouchers, plus city sightseeing coach transfers with one lunch. Other optional tours will also be made available. Hotel Accommodation The organisers will assist delegates to book hotel rooms at a number of official hotels located within 5 - 15 minutes drive from the conference venue. Golf Tournament (Cancelled) Subject to confirmation and sufficient number of participants, an 'afa16 mini Golf Tournament' will be organised in conjunction with the 16th AFA Conference 2009. The proposed golf tournament, as part of a pre-conference program is expected to be organised either on Sunday 6 December 2009, or Monday 7 December 2009.
