About Us
The 16th AFA Conference is hosted and organised by Brunei Darussalam Institute of Certified Public Accountants (BICPA), in association with the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA). As the officially recognised accounting body in Brunei Darussalam, BICPA is committed to upholding professional standards, practices and aspirations of the accounting profession. One of its more visible efforts is in the area of continuing professional education with primary focus in accountancy and professional development training courses and seminars, through the establishment of an accountancy academy in Bandar Seri Begawan.

The ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) was organised in March 1977 as an umbrella organisation that serves to oversee the common interest of its members. The national associations of the accounting profession of all ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) member countries are categorised as Primary Members. Associate Members are internationally recognised accounting associations outside ASEAN.
